Dear sailors and families

We received a some days ago an email from the German Organisation about the campingarea.
The Travemunde organisation gave us in December / January the camping information .
Also the parking and launching information. We spread the German drawings to all know people.
However, it seems that the German Organisation cannot hold their promises.
Camping is a problem the first days as the German Organisation says.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am very sorry that it is again me to bring you bad news. 
Because there will be the christening of the brand new cruise liner „Mein Schiff 5“ on the weekend before the Travemünder Woche 2016 (15.07. - 17.07.2016) there will be everything different in Travemünde.
While Travemünder Woche the camping side for the Spash Classes will be Zippelpark and Leuchtenfeld. These places are used as fairground while christening. 
Because these facts are dictated to us by Lübeck public authority there is no chance for camping in this places before 19.07.2016 15hrs. Interested people can use public camping sides in Ivendorf and Travemünde - Kowitzberg before 19.07.2016 on their own costs. Reservation will be useful.
For Splash boats and ribs the berth is useable from the 16.07.2016. But there will be a problem to get to the area, because there will be a lot of traffic with visitors of the christening.
We apologise the inconvenience but we are not able to change anything of those, because the christening will be high priority.
